I have a pair of Petrol Volvo 145hp engines I do have the serial No.s. Can any one tell me where I can find what engines they are in order to purchase an operators manual for them.

I dare not run the engines untill I can check the levels and what fluids should go where.

Thanks very much

If your about the AQ145 then its a B23 volvo lump SOHC. The only fluids your looking at would be engine oil and cooling water/af mix.
Have a look at seloc manuals. They do one that covers your engine. For additional info look at http://www.arweb.co.uk/volpen/usergroup

Hi Mike and welcome to furum,Barry H is your man for info on this.Just one minor point,do you have legs or shafts on that boat of yours. If legs give them a good seeing to before popping boat back in water.Although appearing to be be simple bits of metal, that can give mega grief and best to check em when on shore and at least you can get at them.Engines can at least be fettled afloat.Nothing worse than launching and then having to come back out in middle of summer for major fixing operation.
If on shafts or teaching you to suck eggs, please ignore above.

Interesting link to the Volvo website. How do you do that? Can you advise links for AD31s and 290 outdrives?
