I'd like some help, please, in identifying this unused tricolour masthead unit, so I can consider using it.... or finding someone who can.

Stamped on the top is '061516', '25W', and a capital 'A' inside a triangle. On the 10mm tube protrusion are the remnants of glued-on numbers '054312'. The base is a plastic-moulded male threaded tube about 42mm OD.

Thots?

The A is the Aquasignal logo.

They do stainless steel series 50 http://www.aquasignal.com.au/series-50/

It is as you say and if OldBilbo allows the pictures to scroll through the cycle he will see his model near the end of the slide show. All series 50 lamps are rebuildable from spares so the lens can be replaced provided the rest of the unit is OK. However, if the bayonet fitting and lens require replacing, or the base is missing, it would be cost effective just to buy a new series 50 unit. They are relatively expensive.
