Almost certainly the cav type - see the earlier thread on 'fuel filter for Mercedes OM636' . All the info there.

Brilliant.It is and the present filter tallies.
They're on North Uist and £3.00 delivery will barely feed a pigeon for the day so it's something else crossed off and I'll be interested to see when it arrives.

PS If anyone thinks I'm extravagant I have ordered two filters and there are bigger issues to resolve just now.Next year I'll be an expert on filters and the following year I'll have forgotten what it's called.
