Identify Perkins Diesel part?

An old guy in the marina here asked me to look at an oil leak. He has an ancient Broom 37 with Perkins 145hp engines and the leak seems to be coming from the part in the photo attached. I'm not familiar with these engines and I know I should ask on the mobo forum but I thought I would ask here first. I've spent a lot of time on Google to no avail. There is a number stamped on it which seems to be EM P11025 1. Is it an oil cooler of some description?

Looks like it might be a Perkins 6.354 horizonal turbo (HT6.354M). Looking at a poor photo of the original manual, there is no unit shown but I reckon that is an oil cooler.
