Ideas for Capt Robs voyage

Hi folks,

Have three days leave from Monday,weather permitting???, may visit Crouch/Rouch. Any advice on good places to anchor.Pub would be nice but not crucial. :

Pagglesham on the Roach is always worth a visit. I have always managed to pick up a mooring and there is a pub (name escapes me) there too.

North Fambridge friendly too - The Ship (I think - why can't I remember the pub names!) /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Others know the Crouch / Roach much better than me!

Hope the weather is OK - forecast not that fantastic again!

Yep

Always a mooring to be had at Pagelsham and short walt to the pub Plough and Sail

North fambridge you can pick up a mooring or go on the pontoon dont knw what they charge this year but was £5 a night last year pub is short walk The ferry boat inn

Being Irish I never forget the names of pubs, can never remember what they look like on the inside or leaving them but always catch the name on the way in

Your memory is poor on account of the pubs whose name you can't remember!

The Plough & Sail at Paglesham and The Ferry Boat Inn at N. Fambridge.

Surely we should be in one of these pubs and not typing this rubbish

If i didnt have a very late night pick up I colchester I would be afloat and tied up somewhere close to a watering hole

SWMBO has a works outing to the evening races at newmarket prob is the coach departs and returns to the offices in colchester, working on brownie points dropped her off this morning picking her up 01.30 tonight so no falling down water for me
