I'm away to put my 1936 Sharpie up for sale. As some of you know, it has just been restored with advice from the best classic marine minds in the country and will receive a couple more coats of varnish before she goes. She was designed by the noted furnituremaker, Arthur Romney-Green and the contrasting colours of her construction are stunning. While not having the dimensions of a 12 sq metre Sharpie, she is 18-1/2' and certainly sails wonderfully in light airs.

I'm finding it difficult thinking of what realistic price to put on it as they vary so much on Boats and Outboards.

Any ideas?

you say the price on b&o varies quite a bit. would you be happy to sell at the highest price you`ve seen on b&o ? if so thats your guide price ( i assume your boat is in top notch condition ). if not, decide how much more than that would you want and take it from there.

An International 12 sq.mtr. sharpie is 19ft. 6ins. overall...what happended to the other foot?
A chap in our club bought a very nice one to race for less than 3k...his maintainance this year envolved a bit of furniture polish! unlike the rest of the classics in the fleet!
