It has some rather classic clues and combines those with thoroughly modern design. I would think as a med boat it is entirely fit for purpose. I am a bit of a sucker for maroon as well. I could certainly live with it.

Good god, can't believe it was 55ft. It does look nicely fitted out inside I have to admit, but I'd still go a FL Squaddie anyday, if i could afford to.

Well, if it's the Sq55 you're talking about, maybe I'd rather consider the Franchini, even if as i said it's not my cup of tea!
I've only seen some videos, but judging by them the Sq55 would have good chances to win a "worst hull of the decade" context...
