I've got an ICS NAV6 Plus navtex that dates from about 2001. This spring, the LCD display screen has a number of grey blotches on it. These are about midway between the dark and light shades of the text on the screen so it can still be read, but it's distracting.
Has something reversible happened over winter? Is there a simple way to restore the clear screen?
Is it significant that the blotches are there when the power is off?
