Icom M601 VHF

Hi... I have an Icom 601 Fixed VHF at the lower helm and an HM134b Command Mic (CM) on the flybridge. Since buying the boat I have been unable to get the CM to work properly. In that... you can transmit using the CM but you can't hear a response. The lower helm, fixed VHF works fine. I have played with the internal/external speaker settings on both the fixed VHF and the CM to see if I can divert it to the ext speaker, but still no reception audio!

I am wondering if there is anyone in Southampton who has a HM134b CM that would be willing to meet up so that I can try their CM hoping to isolate the problem to either my CM/cable/Fixed VHF etc.

The HM134b is no longer available.

I have been trying do to do all I can by way of 'processor of elimination' before I speak to Icom as they are likely to ask if I have tried this and tried that. As no one seems to have a HM134b I may have to call them Cheers.
