Am I right in thinking that the Raymarine A50d can't accept AIS data via NMEA2000? I have an Icom M506Euro that only outputs AIS data over NMEA 2000. I was originally thinking of getting a NMEA to Wi-Fi convertor and using a tablet to display the AIS data on a chart but then I thought about using a slightly older, cheaper plotter. If I would end up having to use a NMEA 2000 to 0183 convertor to get the AIS data to display on the A50d then I wouldn't be so keen. Any other suggested solutions would be welcome. Especially budget 'thinking outside of the box' type ones thank you.
