ICOM HM-162E Command Mike

Does anybody out there in the Portsmouth/Gosport area have one of these mikes. I recently returned mine to ICOM as some of the functions ceased working but, after several weeks, they found no fault and sent it back. However, having tried it again today, it is still suffering from the same faults. I would be grateful if I could try it in a different installation just to confirm that the fault is not with the mike before I start dismantling the boat to get the radio itself, an ICOM 505 which appears to be working perfectly, and the cable out.

Also, does anybody know if the plug on the mike and the plug on the cable to the radio are the same? If they are, I could eliminate or confirm that the fault is with the cable.
