A collegue has an icom ic502 and a garmin 188c gps plotter. when the 188c is switched on noise is generated ch10 on the radio. I have moved the vhf aerial without success. The two items are 5 ft away from each other and the power runs are not running together. is there an aerial filter or power filter for this problem. I have the same products both are perfect. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

tis ok your original post says 502 which is US.

Try un plugging the antenna, if the noise goes then it is being induced down the coax.
If it stays then it is via the DC line.

This should then point you in the right direction.

Is odd, don't as a rule get problems with our kit and Garmin.
