Good job we had a beautiful weekend eh folks. The clear bright sky before the muck and bullets me thinks. 'Spose to get really chilly this week. Hope you've all been down to the 'Love child' and made sure she's wrapped up nice and warm and topped up with glycol-something-or the-other to stop her freezing up. Bbbbrrrrr, I'm heading for me wooly socks and hot water bottle.

It was fantastic today. Can't believe it's January (well, okay, if you ignore the slight chill :)

Crying wolf if you ask me. Met Office heavily criticized over not forecasting the 'Great Hurricane' and the severity of last year's snow that they now over react to the slightest possibility of out of the ordinary weather. Snow is not forecast for most of England only for Scotland and who lives there anyway?

Could not agree more. What a superb day, nearly had the Solent to ourselves. Did follow an F43 into Chi about 3.30 this afternoon!!. Why do some people lift their boats out and miss out on weekends like this?

We passed West Pole around 2:30pm - I don't think it was us you followed in? We were passed by a Targa just before the beacon, but the camera-woman had gone below - so no pictures of that.
