Ibiza San Antonio anchorage - tender park closed

The tender park outside the Club Nautico was made off-limits to visitors last Monday. The port police (who have confirmed this) are charged with removing any tender that obstructs the slip, at the request of the CN, to be impounded. A fee of 80 Euros is required to release the tender and they will want to see ship's papers (yeah, how do you do that without your tender /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif?). So far nobody has been impounded but most people are being careful, avoiding the area or going during siesta time. Others (only two that I know of) are renting a tender-berth from the CN at 8 Euros per day which includes water (and, wait for it) electricity.

Generally more aggro that last year and they are trying their hardest to spoil this otherwise good spot for cruising yachts.

We live in the bay all year round, and it has been a nightmare not being able to use the dinghy dock. The reason they are doing it is to force people to use the marina to moor their boats in, but as the facilities are terrible and the prices extortionate even if we could afford it we wouldn´t put our boat in there. Santa Eulalia marina is far nicer.
