Ibiza/Mallorca

Hello everyone

I have trawled through the posts on YBW before posting this question, but cannot quite find the answer.

I want to keep my little speedboat on a launch trailer in a boatyard (to then be launched by tractor or similar) in either Ibiza or Mallorca.

Can anyone reccomend anything?

I keep my boat in Mallorca, in a berth in a marina. I'm not aware of any places that offer that sort of service. But I haven't explicitly looked for it, so maybe it does exist somewhere.

There are a few public slipways that you can use to launch from, but you need to provide the launching vehicle and store the boat yourself.

A few of the marinas (Puerto portals for example) provide a drystack storage, but not sure whether you can just launch ad hoc on a day by day basis etc.

There is a dry stack in Ibiza Town, next door to Marina Ibiza. Don't know if it's run by Ibiza Marina or someone else. Boats get launched by a forklift.

In Club De Mar Mallorca Vert and Vert offer a lorry service. They launch the boat ( not for the day but for however long you need it) then take it back to the warehouse. They do this for boats of unto about 10m.

Once the boat is in it is down to you to find a berth, but it does allow you to dry store the boat other than when you want to use it. I have no idea of cost, but I would imagine it is only viable if you are leaving it in for a few weeks.

If you drive round the islands there are quite a few fields with smaller boats in them, but I don't know any names.

If it is very small Club De Mar will also lift it in for you, and do have a very small storage area for maybe 6 speedboats.
