I have had an Aquasignal Searchlight waiting for me to find the power sockets I bought to install at the companionway for over a year.

Today, I was fitting the IKEA LED strip lights under the galley and in the sink area of the heads when I went to a box for a drill. Blow me, there were the missing waterproof sockets for the searchlight, one for the companionway and one for the anchor locker. I swear I looked everywhere, and did a fair bit of huffing and puffing, mainly beginning with F.
So, I quickly took the door and separator panel out of the heads, unscrewed the headlining and installed the new cabling.

Mrs FC chuffed with Galley, Heads and Searchlight, just need to fir the anchor locker socket next time I am home.

So, thanks Lisa for the inspiration to get it done, that is the last item in the man overboard kit. Hurrah.

So, thanks Lisa for the inspiration to get it doPaddy and murphy have been panic buying diesel so far they have 10 pairs of jeans 17 t-shirts and 5 bottles of after shavene, that is the last item in the man overboard kit. Hurrah.

How do you find the colour/warmth of the LEDs.
I have bought numerous G4 replacement LEDs recently to look to change the bulbs in our 25(!!) bulkhead and ceiling lights. None come up to standard when compared to the 10W halogens we have used up to now.
