Saw this rascal going out of Poole Harbour this morning (yeah sorry to post yet another picture of it..)

I thought at first it was Eddie Jordan's new toy but this one didn't have a name on the back so assume it was another new one going out for sea trials:

For a change it was pretty nice out there for a couple of hours this morning.

Guess I'm old fashioned, but even if I had all the money needed to build and run one of these ultra modern.......things, I'd go way back to a boat that had distinction, a proper sheer line, a bridge with wings on either side, a funnel, raked stem and counter stern, but built of the latest materials, and with all the toys, that these have.....Oh I just can't get enthusistic about this one.

I agree it is ugly, impressive yes, but ugly - no class, unpleasing lines and those modern windows are, well ughhhh! Probably a fab machine, but not a nice looker.

I saw it come back into Poole yesterday and i always thought she was ugly, however out on the water in motion she looks a lot better and as we know she is made in England.

I see the Sunseker Yacht 38M as a British copy for the Ferretti Custom Line 128

still if I had plenty of monry would go for a Benetti or a Codecasa for a 3 deck around 40 mtrs

for a double deck I would defintly go for an alloy built Baglietto or a CNL Admiral
