Thanks! prompted me to look at the charts again (they were fine yesterday).

I'm not doing the fastnet, but supposed to be setting off from Dartmouth on sunday and towards Ireland on monday-ish. Looks like a sojourn in Falmouth!

I'm looking forward to Simon Keeling's weekend forecast - which is a bit late....

It seems we've had Summer last week, and now are into the start of the Equinoctial gales! Ho, hum! When's The Boat Show....? Laying-up party? The first frost?

My outdoor activities next week will be getting the firewood in early....

Really why the obsession with forecasts,just do it......
They have to hugely err on the side of caution and they just bear so little resemblance to reality.
