.... the rogue Fray Bentos pie I had on E Bay has gone to a forum alumnus, ruff-n-tumble. Thanks to all those who looked, and the RNLI will be about 15 quid richer + my annual trip for another XXL sweatshirt tomorrow.
ruff-n-tumble is insistent however that I keep the pie and post documentary evidence of its consumption or disposal. I have several of the FB confections in their various hues and shades to go onto Full Circle when she arrives in a couple of weeks, so.....
Lynn & I are open to venue suggestions for an East Coast FB & wine night, which undoubtedly would involve drinking, eating and further donations to our heroes in orange. This need not be on boat or even near river. Over to you lovely peeps.

Jim & Lynn,
with thanks to ruff-n-tumble (Steve) /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I think your level of commitment to the RNLI is above and beyond the call of duty. Not many would take on a whole FB even for such a worthy cause.

PS could Kim arrange us a post icon of a fray bentos pie tin?

Only one? Tis nought but a morsel to a sturdily loined cove like meself.
My 15 year old lad can also scran one in a single sitting, with mash and half a loaf. Then asks for pud, and an hour later wants to phone the local Chinky carryout. Annoyingly he is a mere (tall) slip of a lad.
