I suppose I had better tell you before ChrisD starts gloating. He won the Oxford Ditch photographic competition at the shillingford Bridge Hotel tonight.
It was the Laying up supper of the club. The food was abysmal but other than that it was a pleasant evening.

You'd have stood no chance, the photographs were of such intense quality a pro like you would have been embarrased to enter and get beaten

I took these photos on my recent stay at St Kats on the way to Poole, fantastic evening it was hard to take a bad photo really. The ODCC competition was for a "Sunset over the River Thames", so the only suitable one I had was the last one:
