That looks like a high pressure hydraulic elbow.

For water all you need is a plastic elbow or if you want stainless an 1 1/4 BSP elbow would do the job.

1 1/4 BSP is ginormous!
The engine block has a 5/8" UNF thread just below the thermostat housing. Unfortunately, the second alternator does not allow a straight feed out for the hose. I just need to take the feed upwards.

Why is life so difficult?!

Ah - I've just noted that the link is to one and five eighths not five eighths. Ebay takes the blame.

Not when the search was for 5/8"!

Now I can't find filter banjo bolts to 10mm copper.

Time to fire up the lathe!

Bit of a butcher job but M16 Banjo bolt is not a million miles away. 5/8" banjo seems elusive but must exist.

The filter bolts are 9/16 UNF.

I have the taps and dies and various lumps of 316.
