I need new spray hood

I wanted to get my sprayhood patched but have been told - I can't fix rotten!!.

so I need a new one.

Live in Southampton area.

can anyone recommend somebody who does a good job and doesn't cost the earth?

Just had one made by Quay Sails at Poole. Very happy with it, and significantly cheaper than C&J. Don't know about TecSew prices though.

I've had work done by both C&J and Tecsew. C&J were a little more expensive but did a good job; Tecsew put marks all over the fiberglass deck on my new boat from the stone chippings stuck in the soles of their Doc Martins and all they said afterwards was "we are finding it hard to get staff these days"!! Have used Rene at Quay Canvass in the past, nothing wrong with the quality of the work, just that in our experience he has never delivered anything (except the bill) on time, the last time leaving us with no berth cushions after constantly reminding him for 8 weeks about our planned holiday.

Since than we used C&J, more expensive, but on time and to quote.

I went to Jeckells. they measured up and then made it too big. they then tried to charge me for the alteration. Mind you the internal upholstery they made was excellent

We got ours from Arun Sails of Bosham; cheaper than C&J and did an excellent job. They also made us a nice matching tiller cover - very dinky and saves on varnish now the tiller's protected from the UV.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned comfort afloat in fareham.
