Hi, I am not sure where to put this post. have a 1964 Baglietto yacht I want to sell... is there much demand or value to these? It is very original - and cute! Let me know if you can help please - and how would I find out who the original owner was? Thanks!

The boat market generally seems to be very slow. I have had my clinker built Oakleaf up for sale all of this year and have not even had anyone to look at her. I have advertised in Classic Boat (of course) and other newspapers and on various sites on the web.

There has been some genuine enquiries - people asking for pictures and details but several others wanting to send me a cheque immediately for twice the amount if I send the balance to a trader in Spain! I even had an e mail from someone in the Ivory Coast asking for help in moving a huge sum of money which the government would not let him export!

The con men are alive and well and atttempting to get at your cash!!

if the price is good the Baglietto will sell

these usually are quite popular in Italy, try with some Planning Wooden Motor Yachts Specialicts like Santa Margherita Yacht who are in Santa Margherita, Liguria South of Genova
also many yards in Liguria might help in selling these type of yachts
I think location can be quite an issue for the selling, but if in the right place and the right price it might sell pretty fast
