Jimi's post has promoted me to look for a new broker for Stingo because the current one, erm... well...

Stingo is currently lying in Trinidad and so my thinking is that a US based broker would be better than a UK one. Any thoughts/recommendations/tips?

would have thought if they're not local to the boat then it wouldn't matter who advertised it. awfully long way to go to look at a boat though. might it not be better to head up to florida with it or something?

don't know if its helpful but I sold my boat in 3 weeks by using internet site - there are 3 free ones plus I had a UKP60 two month ad in Yachts and Boats for sale.

Had a total of around 20 replies and 4 very serious buyers.... Unless you need someone to show the boat for you I can see no good reason for paying anyone....... I must admit a web site helped but they are cheap enough - had 800 plus visits to the 'for sale' page I think it was..
