Anyone?

I want to activate power to my 12v macerator pump to empty the black waste tank. To empty the tank from full will take around 5 minutes.

I am going to install a Gobius 4 tank level indicator, which has 4 sensors for full, 3/4, 1/2 and empty.

I want to hit a push switch with an LED indicator which will sense off the Gobius, and switch itself off automatically. Also need ability to push the button again to switch off before timer completes.
I guess it will need a relay too

As an electro numpty, I throw this significant opportunity over to the YAPPers hereabouts

Jabsco Pump, 8 amp

Gobius 4

(maybe even replace the Gobius indicator with a fully integrated sensor panel with timer switch too.......

As nothing seems to exist from Tek Tanks or Lee San, someone might be onto a bit of a winner here.

You can buy configurable timer modules from Velleman - I have one tucked above the ceiling in my bathroom which turns the heat-recovery ventilator on when the shower starts (flow switch in the pipe) and off ten minutes after it finishes. Might get you part of the way there?

5 minutes? My smaller 45litre tank takes less than a minute ( never timed it) through a macerator. I just use a push switch as I don't want it stuck on running dry at that rate of draw.

18 litres a minute pushing it uphill.80 litre tank plus a bit.

My holding tank gauge has a built in relay. Comes with start/stop button and once the level drops to below 10% the gauge automatically turns the in built relay off.

Try one of these simples
https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/time...54D4245522677633D424F5448267573743D4D4C523426

combined with a 12v illuminated push button.

And a wiring diagram that I don't have time for at the mo!

NB RS list prices are a joke. Any electrical supplier/stockist should be able to offer about 40% off that price

I have used a 555 Monostable Switch Kit from Maplins (http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/555-monostable-switch-kit-n32fl) to provide a timed flush on an electric Lavac toilet. The timer can be adjusted to run from 1 second to 15 minutes. I had to change a couple of resistors to make it possible to adjust it effectively around 1 minute for the toilet but it should be fine for your longer pump out. It runs directly off 12 volts so no additional power supply is needed.
