Hi

I know this is a long shot guys but it’s worth a try my engine has just gone and my boat is stuck in an unsafe place so i really need to borrow an outboard engine to get it back to my local marina. im happy to pay a deposit and pay for it, i only need it for less then a week. Im about 15 miles from my local marina. i will bring it back to you that is not a problem and will pay for the time i have it.

Anything from a 6hp upto a 40hp would be ok it’s to push a small Dawncraft 22ft

I am in oxfordshire and can travel 50 miles or so if needed to collect it. i will leave my full name address contact number and a deposit, im a very genuine person but really am stuck and don’t know what to do

As long as the engine can be connected remotely to my gear lever and steering that will be great

Ah well see. If you'd hung about here long enough, some one would have galloped over the horizon and rescued you in about five minutes flat. Fraid cant help alot, but it might help to say where and which river yer on, some one might just pick it up and drag it back.

Just and idea, have you considered getting one on Ebay, use it and put it back on Ebay after, It might not cost as much.
