I know there\'s a shortage of fish but

this is rediculous! This is a Fisheries Protection Vessel in the Hamble this afternoon. Clearly he is looking for a job as he is catching two nice bouys in the lower reaches of the Hamble. Ran over the bouys - opps full astern - opps now we're *****! Warps wrapped round the props and the Hamble HM seen using a long boat hook to try and disengage the warps. All rather amusing, although I don't think they were to amused at being photographed/forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

I'm not surprised they weren't amused. I would have been more inclined to go over and help them instead of taking photographs.

Don't be a spoilsport. These are professional seamen. Solitaire is just an amateur photographer. Surely someone should have been helping him sort out his equipment ! Great pics.

Fishing Joke
A game warden stopped a man with two buckets of fish . He asked the man, "Do you have a license to catch those fish?"

The man replied, "No, sir - Don't need one. These are my pet fish."

"Pet fish?!" the warden asked.

"Yes, sir. Every night I take these here fish down to the lake and let them swim around for a while. I whistle and they jump back into their buckets, and I take them home."

"That's crazy! Fish can't do that!" said the warden.

The man looked at the game warden for a moment, and then said, "It's not crazy, I'll show you."

"O.K." said the warden, " Do it!"

"The FISH!" yelled the warden.

Always the way isn't it. Get it right and no-one sees you. Mess it up and there is always an audience - usually with a camera too!
