I know it\'s not done much but I hope folks don\'t mind!

Apologies if folks really would rather I'd not posted this up, and please remove if it's deemed that it's not appropriate :-).

We are selling our 35 Sedan through the Broom brokeridge (http://www.broomboats.com/html/usedfset.htm), 2nd page of the used boats section. Silver Lady it is. She's been up for a few months now, and would like to make it known to more people that she's there if anyone's after a 35 foot flybridge Broom. I'm aware Broom's wash her down every couple of weeks and I'd done a full wax over before she went. She's in lovely condition and would make a great boat for someone looking for this kind of craft.

4th boat down on the second page on the used section /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif. I can provide other photos including a proper one of the exterior if wanted and answer other questions online if you want. Thanks folks.

Well Broom's said this month and last month were their busiest two months but nothing seems to be happening. She's been reduced in price a little but she's in such good nick and had new stuff put on her I can't see why there's not been any offers or anything /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif.

Re: I know it\'s not done much but I hope folks don\'t mind!

It may be because she is a flybridge model. Broom owners tend to be traditionalist. I would consider moving it to another brokerage away from other brooms and empashise her Flybridge Pedigree at a great price.

Maybe consider having some soft furnishing changes? would have thought your prime buyers were Families with young chuildren wanting more space and moving up from an S23 or the like. A little spruce up can do wonders as in that market SWMBOS rule!

Traditional brooms get traditional owners....you can do better than them.

Just a thought,

Cheers

Hi,

Just had a nosey round at competition and there is quite a lot around your price range, for a similar or slightly newer boat. Rather than drop the price I would definitely consider the type of refurb a young SWMBO would like. It will differentiate your boat and be cheaper than dropping the price.

If you aim for the younger end then they will not have the cash to 'tart it up' a bit. You have spent well on the mechanics but my SWMBO cares not a jot for that!

Just a thought as she looks well from the outside and has decent covers. The layout is cracking and she is well looked after.

Cheers

Best of luck with the sale but just to warn you , some posters on here were jumping up and down on my head when they thought I was trying to sell items on here , and promoting the website I was selling on , when all I wanted was help in identification , the most I'm allowed is a link that people can follow if they like . Just thought I'd let you know , forewarned and all that

Re: I know it\'s not done much but I hope folks don\'t mind!

I think your post is mainly asking for help, with an additional caveat that the boat is for sale, which most of us knew anyway!

Fine by me

Just to say that I think she is now no. <u>5</u> on Page 2 /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I suggest that you also get a few more exterior photos taken - also I didn't realise that Broom did Flybridge boats (just their usual, "acquired taste" versions /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif). I guess I am not the only one who does not think of Flybridge cruiser = Broom.

I would also try marketing her on the web elsewhere, even if you are only redirecting them to Broom (as Broker?)

Re: I know it\'s not done much but I hope folks don\'t mind!

I had my Broom Crown 37 at Brooms for most of 2003 without success.

Then I had her shipped down to Penton Hook (where I bought her) and she sold. Still took a further 2-3 months, but Broom had had her 8-9 months.

LOL thank you for posting that. Here are some more!

***** How the bloody heel do you make the stupid thing actually put the pictures in the **** post! The image button doesn't do it. You just get [image][/image] either side of the damn pic. Sorry I give up. Here's links though /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

It's a secret!

The picture needs to be online - the first one I posted I saved onto my PC and uploaded to another website (which I use for just this purpose!).

Open up the picture ONLINE in a browser.

Right Click on the picture, select PROPERTIES.

Cut and paste the URL into the box that appears when you click the"image" option when making a post on YBW.

When positing on YBW it would perhaps be better to downsize both the physical size of the photo and the digital size of the pic.

Like this..............(note that I have saved this image on my online photo page).

As I said,

Great looking boat! I hope she sells quickly, and the price seems spot on! Definitely move and spruce her soon if she does not sell.

Cheers
