Its Stone Point, just at the start of the Twizzle, looking back out to sea. If you look carefully in the background on the LHS, you can just see the old WWII barges that are beached opposite the East Coast sails channel marker...
Its without any doubt our favourite anchorage.....
Just before Chrsitmas 2006, as the weather has turned, and our thoughts turn to antifouling, maintenance and the long wait until the spring, lets have a best moments of 2006 in pictures thread..... with perhaps a 4 week window for people to post their favourite photo showing the 'spirit of UK sailing' and then have a forum vote for Skuttlebutt picture of the year....
It'd be just the thing to cheer us through the long winter...
Sure we could get Keith to set up a forum temporarily for us.....
