Just try a REALLY low pressure situation, and see if blood pressure can do the business. With imiminent gales and rough seas, could you really concentrate on the 'other'?
There is nothing wrong with the calibration. This is from the National Swedish Weather service's site. Note that the data is more than two hours old and the glass is still falling here...
Just checked the QNH value (adjusted to sea level pressure) at Stockholm airport. At the moment it is 963 millibars guess you will have to change to inches to check your barometer or maybe it is shown in millibars, cant quite see the picky very well.
When it gets that low you won't have enough steam to drive the pistons. Suggest you break up the chart table and throw it on the fire, that should make the little pointy thing go up a bit /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
