............ on Saturday in Chi harbour ........ then a little drift.........then a little motor..........then a little sail back to the mooring.
I wanted to try out my new rags.
Northerly wind gave a me a run south. Then I hit a hole in the wind and saw boats running towards me going north !!!!!!!!!!
The prevailing wind was northerly but the sea breeze came in & fought it leaving a hole of zero wind somewhere up the harbour. The Chimet archive shows a great plot of northerly dropping to zero and then filling in from the south just after mid day.
Someone out there will say they had a great sail in the Solens in a nice southerly sea breeze. Well it was nice to on the water with the lawn getting longer & #2 son happliy fishing and catching nothing.
