I couldn't believe how hairy she was!

When the boat is on the plane , you need to trim her.

Do you think that what's causing it??

I try to, when on the plane I trim accordingly to get the best possible speed without aditional throttle adjustment? But maybe I'm doing it wrong??

Is that a DPE outdrive, if so, it looks like the exhaust rubber flap is missing but hard tell. Not surprised a hairy hull using trilux, I used to use it on my outdrive which had similar issues until I tried a different product.

It is a DPE and yes the rubber flap is missing, the spare is ready to go on next time she's out of the water, what product are you using now?

I use Seajet 034 for the Outdrive and Props and Teamac D Plus for the hull which I changed to last year with great results when I lifted this year, so applied again this year. It is an eroding/self polishing antifoul with a max speed 30knots.

thanks for the reply Scubadoo, I'll test them out when I pull the boat out later this year
