Me too, albeit after a rather less than inspiring and somewhat mystifying experience with one brokerage.

Given that we weren't paying them, only enabling them to earn their keep by virtue of them happening to have a boat which suited us, the bottle of champagne on handover was a nice touch.

& the only the 2nd time i have used a Broker either to buy.
the first time a well known East Coast Broker who was rubbish & caused me last minute problems.
2nd Time, Oyster Brokerage who were on the ball
