My Seagull hasn't been started for 3 years, sat in the garage.

With TG reminiscing about Seagull sounds, I resolve to act.

Maybe we can have a Seagull Picnic this year somewhere like Barling Creek? All park up in Paglesham, then get in Seagull powered tenders and have a run ashore.
I shall organise this do.

Who still has a Seagull which might work?

Oh, it's you who makes that noise is it? :p

Seriously it's preferential to the new Easyjet noise polution courtesy of Southend Airport.

How do you think I feel. I live in Canewdon, and they have changed their flight path so it comes over my house. It used to pass off to the east of the village. Funny how it is only the orange ones that do that.

I had one. Chucked it overboard one summer after it refused to start, spent £60 on a service. Then it was still a PITA. Nasty noisy things. Bough a Honda 2.3 but to be honest I don't love that either, noisy and the centrifugal clutch is cleverer than me. Anyone want to buy one?

Someone to install my a Eberspacher heater, not the duct, just the beast and cut up a fuel tank. A day's work in all but you're a full time restauranter.

Brilliant idea!

Can you also organise a sort of 'Seagull Surgery' so I can drop my two off and collect later after a pub lunch?

You would be astounded if you knew how much some people spend on restoring Seagulls.... if you have the cash, I can arrange the surgery....

it's a good job Jane and I are back to work on the 28th cos neither my nor the bosun's seagulls work

mind you, the Tohatsu I've just acquired (thanks Loddon, it runs a treat :-) ) isn't much more sophisticated!

Let it be known that I also have a well tuned Mariner 3.3 2 stroke which goes like the clappers, and weighs very little.

The Seagull is my whimsical bit of nostalgia.
