This may be a well worn topic, but here goes:
I had a leaky dinghy that had been 'repaired' by a 'expert'. There was too much gungy glue under this repair ... and it leaked.
I cleaned up the surface and used 'Weldwood' contact adhesive ..... just like Evostic .... with a new piece of hyperlon .... and it seems to work well.
A whole lot less fuss than the two component glues ..... but then maybe it won't last as long. Any experience out there?
I remember an old definition of 'Expert' ...
Ex ..... someone who's past it
Spurt ..... a drip under pressure
