Hydronic D4W ECU test and repair?

Photo shows the ECU from my Hydronic heater. I have two of these ECUs, both failed. They cost £200 each on Ebay, have not tried anywhere in UK to date. Is there any way I can test the components, assuming I can get them out of the potting, or does anyone repair or offer replacements at a reasonable price?

Whats the problem with your ecu`s, i had a problem with mine and managed to repair it but it does depend if its the microprocessor thats failed.

For the one shown I don't know, it came on a unit bought for spares. I managed to short the other one, applied a current to the exhaust pipe.
