Hi all
Under normal circumstances I’d drop into our ever helpful local Hyphose and discuss this, but working from home etc means that during normal office hours I’m tied to my computer at home doing work type stuff in a rural area rather than visiting suppliers or able to pop out for 1/2hr in the middle of an industrial estate.
Can somebody help with a spec of these Hydraulic steering connections so I can discuss it over the phone with Hyphose instead.

On the Left is the existing internal tapered connection from my Helm pump.
I know Hyphose can supply a hose to connect to these as they made the last ones 14yrs ago.
But what is it called?
On the right is what the other end of the hose needs to connect to on the Mercury steering ram supplied with my ‘new to me’ Mercury Optimax.
It’s obviously an ‘O’ ring type connection usually used in power steering systems, but will of course be OK used with a manual pump.
Does anyone know the spec or ‘name’ of this?
Or if the other half is commercially available rather than have to go through a Mercury dealer.
I’d obviously like to use what I’ve got than start changing things around.
Thanks
Nasher.
