Hurth Gearbox Workshop Manual wanted...

Does any one have a Workshop Manual for a Hurth HBW 50 gearbox? It looks like I'm going to have to rebuild mine this winter. Alternatively I could photocopy yours with a donation to RNLI.

Hello Dickh. You can get a copy of the Hurth gear box shop manual on line. The site is http://motoren.ath.cx/ The website is written in Dutch, but if you click on "HURT" you will find the manual you are looking for written in four languages, including English. You can then print this for your use. Good luck with your rebuild.

Alan, thanks for the reply, I did in fact go to this site earlier and downloaded the Manual, which was useful for maintenance and correct settings for the cable etc, I want the Workshop Manual for Instructions to dismantle and assemble the gearbox as it appears there is an internal problem.

Looking for a Hurth Gearbox Workshop Manual, HBW 15-2.8R.V. 947.20. N.R. 11-100785. Leaked seal needs replacing. An old one with a Sea Panther Watermota engine in a 1977 Camper Nicholson sloop. Thanks, Simone
