I was in a shop today here in St Martin, and some one says ooh, September 2nd already. An older guy muttered something, and a smiley conversation started. What was that he said about September, I asked? He said he wanted the month to go by as fast as possible. I think said ooh, that's no good, wishing your life away... but the shopkeeper interrupted and explained - September is THE hurricane month. Or at least one of them. That's why he wanted rid of September. They talked of September 1995 when hurricane Luis passed over the island, roofs ripped off and the power was off for three months. I rather like saying that a hurricane "passed over" the island since it sounds a lot less horrid than when a hurricane "hits" somewhere. Hum. Meanwhile wonderful sunshine BUT there at least a TRS on it's way later in the week...

''If she comes, she gonna come big_time and you gonna know all 'bout her den''.
