Hunter Piot 27

We bought ours (Felicity) last year, and have been very pleased with her. Sailing performance is reasonable, and accommodation good.

The self-tacking jib is useful, but you really need the optional cruising chute for lighter airs (ours is on a furler which is a godsend). The boat is well put together, although self-build ones might be more variable in quality.

We came from a Vancouver, so the light displacement (i.e. the boat moves when you get aboard!) took some getting used to.

The Hunter Assocation is a good source of info.

Feel free to pm me if you need any specifics.

I have a Hunter Horizon 27 TK = similar to the Pilot but slightly more open. Mine doesn't have the self tacking jib - for which I'm grateful.

She sails well and build quality is pretty good.

PM me if you want more info
