On a recent venture a helpful member of the public pushed us off from a pontoon and in doing so pulled the aft Stanton loose.despite all my efforts I can’t get the screw to bite as there seems to be nothing behind the fibre glass.
It’s imposible to get to the rear of the Stantion to place a bolt or backing plate due to the bulkhead position.
I’m thinking can I put a rivnut threaded insert into the hole and see if that will do the job.?if not what are my options
