Currently purchasing a Hunter Horizon 26 85/86 Twin keel, are there any well known defects to check for ?

In my experience, they are extremely well constructed, the only suspect areas will be interiors,as many were home completed. Hunters sold a comprehensive Kit package, which could be bought in stages. Some owners may have had thair own ideas though..
Check internal bulheads . Find out if the boat was completed by Hunter or was a DIY. You'd probably be better looking for a Hunter built one, but depends. A botched one should be easy to tell!
