Hunter 701

Recently a couple of experienced 701 owners have joined the Anderson 22 Owners Association, as there is no backup for the Hunter and she's very similar to the Anderson, I think it fair to say the A22 was based on the 701.

Anderson owner members were asked and are happy to have the 701 owners on board.

So now we're the Anderson 22 / Hunter 701 Owners Association.

The address is in my signature below, I have only just started adapting the 701 into the website, hopefully a lot more 701 content to follow.

well all I know is that the people who've joined us have tried there and couldn't get much joy, the A22 site and backup is quite comprehensive if I say so myself with a private forum including members photo's of modifications and chat between owners ranging from novices to ship Captains, 12 page ' top tips ' ,etc

I'm not exactly touting for business, the A22 ( and A26 ) keep me very busy indeed, nor do I make a profit or business out of it, quite the reverse, it's a labour of love run at a loss; but if 701 owners fancy it so be it.

Not as familiar with the Hunter 701 as the A22 probably as a consequence of this forum. Have to say the Hunter looks the prettier boat! but good luck it's nice to see an active owners association for both boats.

Am I correct in thinking that the H701 is constrained by the 1.4x LWL rule whereas the A22 is not?
