A friend of mine has purchased a hunter 19, which he is nuts about claiming its the best thing since sliced bread. He would like to know how far and wide these boats have been sailed. or have they made any long distance trips, e.g ocean crossings.
I think he has some big dreams.

thanks Roger

A great little yacht, indeed. Designed by Oliver Lee and hull-sister to the Squib keelboat. David(?) Blagdon (or possibly Blaydon) sailed one "Willing Griffin" across the Atlantic in the 1972 Observer Single Handed Transatlantic Race and recorded his experiences graphically in the book "Very Willing Griffin". So keep your friend away from nautical 2nd-hand bookshops.
