Having just completed the sale on my 1985 Sadler 26, job one has been to fit a log impeller... no big problem I thought!
I've cut the hole to the right size in the right place (the flat section at the front where the hull is single skinned), but the log fitting supplied with the Nasa Clipper is too short (or the hull is too thick)... is it possible to get a longer log, or do I have to work out another way of doing this?
As it is now, when the skin fitting is fitted there is not enough thread left at the top to secure the blanking plug safely once the locking collar has been tightened (there's about 6mm of thread free).
Any ideas folks?
