Hull thickness on Shetland 535

Hi
We are restoring a shetland 535. Early 1970's we think.
Can anyone tell us the thickness of the hull we know its GRP but would be interested to know how thick the hull is and any other construction beneath the GRP.
Without having to drill a hole to find out!

Ours was about 15mm thick in the floor just inside the cabin. We had a crack there and I had to grind out a huge area to get a nice taper on the repair!
 
Can anyone tell us the thickness of the hull on the 535 in the cockpit area to the back of the transom also is it double skinned beneath the fibreglass

Just wondering why the OP needs to know the thickness?
My father reverse designed the Shetlands for the EU regs, the RCD, but I don't have any details to hand.
 
Hi. The lower hull is fairly thick and well made for sure. The thing to be concerned around would be the condition of the transom, floor and stringers.
mom not certain, but I don’t think the 535 is double skinned, like the 498 and family four is, for example. Could be wrong. Have a check over her for osmosis too. Many of these things can suffer this, if they’ve spent some of their years on inland waterways and not lifted out for years.
Upside is, these are great wee boats. Very efficient hulls that plane very easily with modest power. Most of them had 50/60hp on them when new. A friend of my parents bought one new with a 50hp on it. They had 2 skiers off the back of it more than once.
