Hull re-painting cost

Hi, has anyone had their 30' ish sailing boat hull professionally repainted above the waterline recently? What was the cost of having that done? Mulling having mine done but wondering whether I could afford it. And any recommendations for who could do it in the Solent area. Thanks

I had my 43’ (30’ on the waterline) boat’s topsides painted. In 2015 I was quoted £12k all in by a company in the south. I had it done in 2021 for a bit less than that. Thread here. Clicky

The work was done in Scotland. Two of my friends have taken their boats to Portugal to get painted due to the lower costs.

What about getting it wrapped? Is that any cheaper?

Had a complete mast down, in the shed, Awlgrip respray in 2014, total cost (12M boat) was around £14K

Looked at wrapping but wasn't convinced, I was also told, stating the obvious, the finish would be completely dependent on the prep, which is where a large chunk of the £14K went.

I had our 8 metre boat painted (topsides) and hull shotblasted and antifouled last year, £10,500. It is an excellent job.
