After many years crewing other people boats I finally took the plunge last year and bought a c1600b6ea422074a1eae45ace56a967cc4e78f02 Sun Odyssey 32.2 in which I had a fantastic first season cruising around the West coast of Scotland. I want to start next season with my boat nice and shiny. For this purpose I would like to buy a reasonably priced electric polisher. The one that catches my eye is the Deltalyo DAS6. I'd like to know peoples opinions on this machine. Or if there is a better machine at a similar price. Also is it always necessary to use a rubbing compound prior to polishing/waxing ? What is a good quality polish/wax to use ?
