hi all.
we need a skipper to sail our power boat from hull marina to ipswich marina in next 5 days.
we arent experianced enough for the whole trip but even if she could be sailed to lowestoft we could do the rest.
ANY TAKERS.
she has twin 250 hino engines, just serviced and is 45footer planing hull.
thanks.

This is the sort of trip I would love to help you with but next 5 days looks grim, may be a window Monday but not in daylight hours.

Don't forget a camera to get on Gludy's wall of fame!

If you feel there is a window please let us know the date/time and tide direction and I will relook.

hi Daka,
not too bothered when, if you feel competent in dark then so be it(new one for us two) obviously the calmer the better for all but i wouldnt want to put Kate off.
we are both inexperianced.the boat has garmin 2006 gps with charts.all singing all dancin by the look of it.
i would expect there to be plenty of fuel on board etc, i suppose its just the weather window we need.
waht do you think ?

The truth.
I have only completed part of that trip in the dark once; there are lots of pots, you would be down to 10 knots.
I think the weather over the next 5 days will keep you down to displacement speeds anyway.
This could be a most enjoyable experience for you on a nice sunny day .
If you can wait for better weather I think you will enjoy boating for many years to come.
