Does anyone have experience (good and bad!) of companies that will do antifoul removal? The work will is to be done at James Watt Dock Marina in Greenock. I've got one quote that seems rather high, and I'd like to get an idea of the going rate. I've tried Google, but the majority of companies that come up seem to be primarily in the graffiti removal business, with hull blasting as a sideline. Capricious is 31' long, GRP with a cast-iron fin keel. If the company will apply primer (which I will provide) to the keel after blasting, that would be useful as I might not be able to be present to apply it immediately after blasting.

Thanks

Marine Blast, Ice Blasting, removing antifoul and previous epoxy down to gelcoat. Apply two pack to keel and hull. Approx £700 for a 30' yacht - they appear to do quite a lot of work in the area. Happy with their service. No connection, etc.

That's the company I have a quotation from - quite a bit higher than £700! I'd be happy with £700, though less is always acceptable.
